Armenia has a distinctly continental climate with dry and sunny summers, which lasts from June to mid-September, when temperatures ranges between 22 °C and 36 °C. Winters are cold snowy with average temperatures ranging between -5 °C and -10 °C, spring is of short duration, while autumn is long. Armenian fall is noted for mild and sunny weather (20-25 °C), bright colors of landscapes and abundance of autumn fruits. It is the most attractive time for visitors.
